Residents and commuters in Rogers should prepare for a temporary road closure on County Road 81, approximately 3/4 mile west of Brockton Lane N (County Road 101). The closure is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, and is expected to last until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1. This closure is necessary to complete utility connections as part of the ongoing Fletcher Bypass project.
The City of Rogers, in coordination with Hennepin County, is overseeing this work. The reopening time may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and construction progress. During the closure, all traffic should follow the posted detour routes, which will utilize Brockton Lane N (County Road 101), Territorial Road (County Road 159), Main Street (County Road 150), and John Deere Lane. Local access for residents and businesses along County Road 81 will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Road construction projects can present challenges for residents, businesses, and visitors in and around the project area. Traffic controls are put in place for the safety of both workers and the public. Please use caution when traveling near the work zone and watch for posted signs.
